Eleanor Aamodt, age 84, of Lusk, died on March 26, 2024, at the Niobrara Community Hospital Extended Care Facility in Lusk, Wyoming. A memorial service for Eleanor will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Lusk. 

Inurnment will be at the Lusk Cemetery. 

Eleanor was born in Lusk on July 8, 1939, to Joe Ben and Alice Voorhees Leimser. She grew up as a young Christian girl country girl in Niobrara County who loved chickens, family, flowers, handcrafts, and horses all her life. She and Stan loved to play cards and go dancing with their friends. In her later years, she was actively involved in the First Baptist Church, Niobrara Health and Life Center, and the Stagecoach Museum in Lusk. 

Survivors include her daughter Connie and her husband, her sister and family, and many cousins; She was preceded in death by her husband Stan, her parents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
