HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – Erdine Adell Couch passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs, S.D. at the age of 97. She was born Erdine Adell Kintigh in Miller on March 15, 1925, to Warren S. and Mae E. Kintigh.

When she was two years old, her family moved to Wyoming, eventually settling on a ranch two miles west of Keeline. The family brand is still in use after over 120 years. She attended grade school in Keeline. She graduated Manville High School Class of 1943 Valedictorian; she was also a trombone player for the school Band.

On February 24, 1946, she was married to Floyd R. Couch in Lusk.

Erdine is survived by son, Ken, and wife, Vivian Couch, daughters, Ronda and husband, Randy, Moore, Lisa and husband, Rodger, Woepple, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, her parents, sisters Isabelle Coleman and Vera Cox, two brothers and two nephews. Committal service will be held on Friday February 3, at 10 a.m. at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis.
