NCHS wrestlers visit Belle Fourche tourney

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – Kort Bannan had previous commitments, Taci Bartschi is dealing with injury issues and Enrique Maez was home ill, leaving the Niobrara County High School wrestlers with just two competing at the Belle Fourche Invitational.

Kadyn McCully won his first match at 144 pounds, but was pinned his second time out and lost an 11-3 decision in an elimination match. He scored four team points for the Tigers.

For the Lady Tigers, Addisyn Bauersachs was pinned in her first match, yet received a second round bye. She was eliminated in the 132 pound consolation bracket.

Tuesday evening NCHS traveled to Crawford, Nebraska for a triangular and on Saturday the Tigers will be visiting Yoder for the Cyclone Duals, beginning at 9 a.m.

The SEWAC Duals will be at the Tiger Gym on February 6 with Senior Night at 3:30 p.m. before the action starts at 4 p.m.
