SARATOGA – Niobrara County High School senior wrestler Kort Bannan (215 pounds) scored a dozen team points for the Tigers at last weekend’s Carbon County Invitational. His third place finish should give Bannan some momentum heading into the 2A East Regionals in Dayton on Saturday.
Kadyn McCully fell in the consolation round in the 144 pound bracket, and will have a tough bracket at regionals.
Lady Tiger Addisyn Bauersachs finished in third place in the 131-140 pound bracket and scored nine points for NCHS. She will be participating in the all-class girls East Regional in Torrington this weekend.
Senior Taci Bartschi was also honored at the Senior Night SEWAC Duals but an injury will keep her out of regionals.
