NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project TOWN OF LUSK PHASE III STREET AND UTILITY REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
At the meeting, the Town of Lusk will present the preliminary limits and scope of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated costs of the Phase III improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements limits, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at Town of Lusk Town hall or at the office of AVI, pc. Based on current Phase III cost estimates, the Town of Lusk plans to apply for a loan of $5,850,000 from the Wyoming Clean Water; $6,250,000 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund; and a Capital Construction Loan $5,850,000 administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Loan terms are anticipated to be 2.5% interest rate for a 30 year period. The 6th penny Special Purpose tax along with system user fees with a 2% annual increase in rates, will also be applied toward loan payments.
