LUSK – John M. Bonsell, 65, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away peacefully at his home, January 3, 2023.
Johnny Mac was born June 26, 1957, to Roger and Beverly Bonsell of the O.W. Ranch north of Lusk.
In a University of Nebraska teaching career spanning from 1982 to 2020, John molded many aspiring engineers first in manufacturing engineering technology and later construction engineering.
John is preceded in death by his daughter, Chelsea; his brother Bill and his parents. John is survived by: his wife, Dana; his daughter, Amanda; sister, Connie (Rick)Lewellyn, College Place, WA.; brothers: Bob(Tammy), Jim (Jessie), Lusk; Cory (Nancy), Omaha.
