Coleen Dillon Siebken January 11, 1935 - January 26, 2014

Coleen Dillon Siebken passed away Sun., Jan. 26, 2014 at Mitchell Care Center in Mitchell, NE. Coleen was born Jan. 11, 1935 in Manville, WY, the second of six children born to Calvin Elias and Varinna “Rinnie” Bell (Brewer) Dillon. She spent her early childhood years on the family homestead north of Lance Creek, WY. The family moved to Springview NE in 1940, where they farmed. Coleen attended grade school and graduated from Ainsworth High School. During her teen years Coleen worked after school as a waitress at the local cafés.

After high school Coleen worked at various jobs as a waitress, nurses’ aid, telephone operator, security guard and as a receptionist. Coleen’s first marriage was to Dale Gunn, then later to Kenneth “Bud” Stafford. In 1983 Coleen married Clarence George Siebken of VanTassell, WY. The couple purchased acreage east of Lusk and lived there for over 20 years.

Coleen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working in her yard, landscaping and planting trees. She had a love for animals and enjoyed caring for her dogs, cats and other livestock. In her later years, she also enjoyed exploring the hobby of photography and could often be found with camera in hand.

Coleen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Calvin (Kelly) Dillon of Ainsworth, NE; brother Frank Dillon of Dannebrog, NE; sister Lucille Williams of Worland, WY; and her husband Clarence Siebken of Lusk, WY. Coleen is survived by daughters, Rhonda Gunn Holdbrook of Douglas WY, Shelly Gunn Krein (Dwight) of Lusk WY, Tammy Gunn Bonsell (Bob) of Lusk, WY, son Kenneth Craig “KC” Stafford of California, sister Shirley Langer of Lusk, and brother Joseph Dillon (Janice) of Glenrock. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Pier Funeral Home in Lusk is assisting the family.
