LUSK - On Wednesday, March 6 three IED’s (Improvised Explosive Device) went off at three residences here in Lusk. No injuries were reported.
On Thursday, March 7 another unexploded IED was found by the owner of one of the residences. That same day Sgt. Matt Smith requested a call be made to Homeland Security for assistance. Homeland Security dispatched a bomb technician from Casper. Lusk Emergency Management was notified along with the Fire Department, EMS, and the Sheriff’s Office to assist the bomb technician at the scene.
