Tiger Wrestlers prepare for State

The Lusk Tiger wrestling team had an exciting weekend at the 2A East Regional Wrestling Tournament in Wright Wyoming. All eight tiger wrestlers placed at regionals and now qualify to go to the State Championship wrestling tournament. Freshman, Stevie Mellott (120) placed sixth with a record of 0-2. Sophomore, Brady Thurston (132) placed sixth with a record of 2-2. Freshman, Carson Wurdeman (145) placed sixth with a record of 0-2. Sophomore Tucker Stephens (152) placed sixth with a record of 0-2. Senior, Ian Zerbe (152) placed fourth with a record of 2-2. Sophomore, Zane Hladky (182) placed fourth with a record of 1-2. Senior, Colby Thurston (195) placed first with a record of 2-0. Look for the wrestlers this weekend Thursday through Saturday.
