Winter Storm Gandalf kept the Lusk boys home Friday night instead of hosting Lingle-Ft. Laramie into Tiger Gym, but it wasnít enough to stop the team from going to Saratoga on Saturday morning.

The Tigers started off a little slow as the home team didnít have to board a bus at 6:30 a.m. After one period the NCHS lead was just 13-11 as the Panthers had a fight in them unlike the game in Lusk last month. The Tigers defensive depth turned it on in the second quarter as the lead increased to 30-18 at the midpoint.

Lusk continued to extend the lead shortly after halftime and led by 20 at one point. The Panthers closed it to 13 late in the third yet still down 48-35 to the (Wyopreps.com) third ranked Tigers. NCHS shot 26 free throws and made just 12 of those attempts yet still won handily by the 64-46 score.
