Hans Hunt/House Representative House District #2

Jan. 8-The 2013 General Session of the 62nd Wyoming Legislature began with the swearing-in ceremony of all House members. An address was made by newly elected Speaker Tom Lubnau of Gillette, who stressed that disagreement is necessary to facilitate the legislative process and spur debate, but that it should be civil and even tempered. Following Speaker Lubnauís address, Majority Leader Kermit Brown of Laramie also spoke.

Very little business was conducted on this first day, though the first 40 or so bills were referred to their committees.
