Stroh’s Honored

Harold and Carla Stroh

The Niobrara Conservation District recently honored Harold and Carla Stroh as Niobrara’s Outstanding Cooperator. The Stroh’s were honored at the NCD Elected Official Function and Banquet in their honor Dec. 16. Harold and Carla have been involved with the District for a decade of learning and sharing-from the unique green energy home of solar and wind power, to the geological knowledge and insight as to where water is and on to the community involvement in the Legend, Pony Express, St. Judes Ride and more. Stroh’s are sharing their knowledge on cheat grass and grazing to win that war as well as grazing management that worked in the drought. Hat’s off to the Stroh’s.
