Tiger Wrestlers host wrestling tournament

This past weekend, the wrestling tournament was hosted here in Lusk. In the varsity brackets, Lusk came in eighth place overall out of the 16 teams competing in the tournament. Individual varsity results were as follows: 120 lb. - Todd Brenner, with a record of 1-2. 132 lb. - Jathan Nelson 1-2. 132 lb. - Brady Thurston 1-2. 138 lb. -Bryce Sturman 2-1 and finishing second place. 145 lb. - Zack Stephens - 0-2. 152 lb. - Ian Zerbe 2-2. 182 lb. - Zane Hladky 3-1 and finishing second place. 195 lb. -Colby Thurston 3-1 record, getting second in his weight class.

In the junior varsity tournament, Lusk had four wrestlers competing. Erin Seaman had a record of 0-4 in the 106 lb. class. Stevie Mellott finished 1-2 in the 120 lb. class. Tucker Stephens went 2-2 in the 152 lb. bracket, and Sabastian Ochs went 0-4 in the 152 lb. class.

This coming weekend, Lusk will compete in a dual match against Wright on Saturday.
