Community welcomes NAPA store

LUSK - The NAPA Know-How has come to town.

NAPA Auto Parts opened a store in Lusk recently, and store manager Bill Proctor said the reception from the community has been excellent.

The NAPA Auto Parts store in Lusk will specialize in heavy truck equipment as well as hydraulic and air hoses.

The store’s hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thorugh Friday and 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.

Jack Ackerman, who hails from Lingle, joined Proctor as the store’s assistant manager.

The National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA) was created more than 85 years ago as a way of distributing automotive parts more effectively.

The association now boasts 6,100 stores nationwide with 64 distribution centers in all 50 states and more than 422,000 parts and accessories for automotive and industrial use.
