Lusk Middle School Tigers Continue to Improve

The 7th grade Tigers had a very successful week winning 3 out of 4 games making their overall record 5-3.

Tuesday 1/29 saw the Tigers taking on Lingle at Lingle with the Tigers prevailing 26-16. Leading scorers for the game were Gunnar Eaton with 10 points, Ryan Gilkey with 6 points, Kaydan Jackson, Dylan Miller with 4 points, and Cole Mellott with 2 points.

The 8th Graders faced the Doggers in an important game for SEWAC tournament seeding. The game was tied up after the first quarter 6-6. The Tigers then began to take control leading 21-14 at halftime and winning the game 34-27. “This was a huge win for the boys’ confidence,” Coach Davies and Diercks stated after the game.

Over half of Tigers contributed in the scoring column including: Monte Wade-17, Riley Ross-8, Caleb Harris-2, Kayce Bruegger-2, Aaron Midkiff-2, James Blackburn-2, Daniel Blair-2, and Chico Cole-1.
