LEMS volleyball has busy week

Lusk Middle School Volleyball had a busy week of volleyball with games at home against Southeast on Thursday and matches in Newcastle on Saturday. The high school golf team played in the Devil's Tower Invitational on Tuesday. The girls team had their best tournament of the fall season so far as they came away with the Team Championship finishing with a team score of 339 which was their season low score. Lady Tigers Split Weekend Games

Tigers Grit Out Win Over Patriots

NCHS improved to 2-0 last Saturday in Sundance with a hard fought 16-6 win. The game was originally set to be in Upton Friday night but there was a scheduling conflict with the officials.

The High School Golf Team played in the Wright Invitational on Friday and Saturday and gained valuable experience playing in the two day tournament. 105th Anniversary

At halftime of Friday's game, NCHS kicked off a year-long celebration in honor of the 105th anniversary of Lusk/Niobrara County High School. The first honoree is the 1947 Manville Panthers 6-Man State Champion football team.

Lady Tiger Netters Begin on High Note

Tigers Win Opener Over Huskies

The Wyopreps second ranked Tigers began the season with a 47-0 win over Burlington-a team missing two coaches due to personal issues. In addition, 320 miles is a long time to sit on a bus and the Huskies found themselves in a hole very quickly and never recovered.
