Tiger wrestlers continue to show improvement in competition

The Tiger Wrestling team worked hard over Christmas break to stay in shape for the competition against Newcastle on January 5th. The overall team record was 4-7, the boys worked hard to make sure they could keep the record. As the calendar turned to 2017 the NCHS boys basketball team had little time to think about games, but instead had to jump right in with five in the first week. A Jan. 3 trip to 3A Newcastle proved to be a difficult opener as the Dogies got off to an early lead and coasted in the 59-29 win.

As 2017 gets underway, the Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball teams went to Newcastle on Jan 3, before the North-South Challenge in Yoder and Torrington coming this weekend. Both the boys and girls varsity squads will face Tongue River and Kaycee on Friday before games against Big Horn and Shoshoni on Saturday.
