Lady Tigers advance to Regionals

The Lusk girls entered the final weekend of the season knowing exactly what was on the line- find a way to beat Saratoga twice in a span of four days. A road win in the conference finale would help NCHS avoid a repeat trip to Carbon County for a chance to qualify for regionals.

NCHS finished off the regular season with a 42-28 win at Saratoga last Friday, despite not having the services of senior Derick VandeBossche. He injured his knee in the final seconds of the Pine Bluffs game the week before, and the week off should help him recover a bit before regionals.
The Panthers were up for the fight all game.

The brutal schedule thrust upon the Lady Tigers this season continued last weekend. The Wyopreps top ranked and undefeated Southeast came to Lusk for Senior Night Friday before NCHS traveled to #5 Pine Bluffs on Saturday. Neither result what was Lusk wanted as the season comes down to a pair of games against Saratoga.
