The NCHS Rodeo Team had two members bring home a coveted Event Jacket this weekend. Colby Thurston was 2nd both days in the Cutting, winning the average and earning the Cutting Event Jacket. The High School Golf Team finished their Spring season at Kendrick Golf Course In Sheridan. The two day tournament consisted of two separate tournaments combined into one event. The Cowboy Conference Tournament consisted of the following teams: Kemmerer, Lovell, Lusk Saratoga and Thermopolis.

For the first time since 2001 the Tiger Track & Field team claimed a 2A East Regional Championship over the weekend at Campbell County High School in Gillette. The NCHS Rodeo team traveled to Newcastle this weekend. Saturday proved to be a good day. Brady Thurston placed 5th in the Steer wrestling with a time of 9.68 sec. The Tiger Golf Team traveled to Hulett with a partial team to play in the Devil's Tower Invitational. The team got a chance to play the course where the state tournament will be hosted next fall.
The weather was chilly but the course was in good condition and the team played well.
