Michael Lee McGee October 5, 1954 - February 12, 2010

Michael Lee McGee, 55, of Aurora, Colorado passed away at his home on Feb. 12, 2010. He was born in Kansas City, Mo., on Oct. 5, 1954. He was the son of Robert L. and Mildred Pfister McGee.

Mike attended school in Laramie and received his Associates Degree in Applied Science from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island College of Business/Culinary Arts.

Mike worked for the Union Pacific railroad as a switchman-brakeman and conductor from Denver, Colorado to Green River, Wyo. for many years.

Mike operated Cyrus McGee’s Pub and Grille and the Old Cadillac Ranch Pub and Grill in Loveland, Colo. and for a time was a chef intern at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colo.

Mike is survived by his mother Mildred Pfister McGee of Cheyenne, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. McGee and sister Kathleen McGee Murphy.

A graveside service was held Monday Feb. 22, 2010 in Lusk, Wyo. at the Lusk Cemetery.
