He was born on July 12, 1972 in Scottsbluff, Neb to George and Celia (Willhite) Jackson. He received his early education and graduated from Morrill High School in 1990. He worked on the family farm until he started working as a conductor on the Union Pacific Rail Road in Morrill, Neb. He was married to Brenda Asselin for 10 years, and to this union 3 sons were born; Jordan, Kayden and Skylar, and became a wonderful step father to Zakary Lenhart.

Corey loved hunting, fishing, bowling, had a strong passion for music and going to concerts with family and friends. He was gifted at playing the guitar and loved playing with his brother Randy. He was a dedicated father and his sons were the most important things in his life. He loved taking his sons to Rockies games, riding in the tractor with Zakary, and never missed an opportunity to watch them play their sports. One of his biggest thrills was when he and his son Jordan both shot their deer on the same day. He loved his family and friends, nephews, nieces and loved going to all family functions and activities. He is loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew him. We will be comforted knowing that both he and his brother Randy are now playing their music together in Heaven.

He is survived by his parents George and Celia Jackson of Scottsbluff; sons Zakary Lenhart, Jordan Jackson, Kayden Jackson, and Skylar Jackson; brothers Craig Jackson of Avondale, AZ, Eric (Katie) Jackson and their children Shaylee, Reagan, and Ridley all of Scottsbluff, and Ryan (Lyndsay) Jackson and their children Emily and Livia all of Mitchell; grandparents George (Ruth) Jackson of Scottsbluff; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his Union Pacific Railroad family.

His grandparents Cecil (Pauline) Willhite, uncles Rod Jackson and Art Ross, brother Randy Jackson preceded him in death.
