Dooper and Lyons Join the Ranks of WNBC Teachers

An Evening of Celebration sponsored by the John P. Ellbogen Foundation was held at Little America Hotel and Resort in Cheyenne on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2013, for the purpose of honoring 61 new Wyoming National Board Certified Teachers (WNBC) and nine recertification candidates. Locals, Candy Dooper and Jim Lyons, were among those achieving that level. Theresa Ellbogen was the emcee for the event. Governor Matt Mead and his wife, Carol, were among the dignitaries present from the State. They both addressed the audience as did State Superintendent of Education Cindy Hill.
