On Jan. 22, 2010 the hospital received notification from the Wyoming State Board of Medicine that they had suspended the license of Dr. Alan Johnson. The hospital had no choice but to terminate Dr. Johnson’s employment. The hospital Medical staff also had no choice but to revoke Dr. Johnson’s privilege’s to practice at NHLC.
These decisions were not taken lightly, we felt Dr. Johnson was an asset to the hospital, clinic and the community. It was with regret and sadness that we terminated Dr. Johnson’s employment.
Editors Note: The Lusk Herald made several attempts to contact Dr. Alan Johnson concerning this matter and was unable to do so. NHLC had no further comment concering this matter. Please see Johnson’s letter to the editor on page A-2.
