The winner of the "Name the pool" contest was announced Fri. April 11 at LEMS. Mayor Pat Smith, Councilman Mark Kupke, Lusk Public Works Supervisor Todd Skrukrud and pool manager Danielle Eichenberger presented certificates to the winner and to Mrs. Zerbe and Mrs. Lambert's kindergarten classes for their participation in the contest.

Fire damages home

On Sunday April 6 the home of Michelle and Cody Kremers was damaged by fire believed to have originated from a fireplace or chimney. The family was not home at the time.
