Houses under construction at LEMS

Big Bucks Bingo draws crowd

Bingo players were invited to the Niobrara County Fairgrounds to play Big Bucks Bingo on Sun, Oct. 12.  Helpmate Crisis Center held their annual fundraiser, where they served lunch at noon and bingo play began at 1.  There was also a silent auction with an array of items to bid on.  
Helpmate is the domestic violence organization in Lusk.

Events scheduled in conjunction with local minister’s anniversary celebration

The weekend of October 11th and 12th will see several special events as local minister Mark Lohr observes his 40th anniversary of entering the ministry. Lacey Brott joins the Lusk Herald

The Lusk Herald has a recent addition to their staff. Lacey Brott moved to Niobrara County from Colby, Kan. with her husband Nolan and their three children, Raynce, Dryce, and Wyncee, in March. Brott's husband, a native of Hayes Center, Neb., accepted a position with the Boot Heel 7 Ranch.
