What is a Level I Watershed Study?
The Niobrara Conservation District (NCD) is applying to the Wyoming Water Development Commission (WWDC) to complete a Level I watershed study on the Niobrara Headwaters Watershed.  The purpose of this study is to describe the Niobrara Watershed in its current condition and to suggest resolutions for any water related issues/opportunities that are identified.

On July 21, 2016 the Lusk Police Department detained two local individuals during an ongoing investigation of property theft.
Paul Force, 19, and a 16 year old male juvenile were arrested for theft of property and transported to the Lusk Police Department to be interviewed . Force was issued a citation and released. The juvenile was charged with theft
