With the election now over the unofficial results are in. Jim Tangney and Melvin ZumBrunnen were elected to the Niobrara Health and Life Center hospital board. According to County Clerk, Becky Freeman write ins were not counted, because they did not have an effect on the outcome of any race. There has to be a certain amount of write in votes to be elected and there were not enough.

Those elected to the Niobrara County School District Board #1 were; Travis Bruegger, Donna Hanson, Loren Heth, Susan Kupke and Lisa Williams. Dennis Meier was elected to retain magistrate for Niobrara County. Niobrara County Senior Citizen board of trustees was: Theresa Modine, David Jassman, Allen Hineman, Kester Akers, and Merle Hahn. Terrance Browder and Kevin Gaukel were elected for the County Soil Conservation District and Mathew Dockery retained his position as District Supervisor. County Rural Fire District electives were: Mark Bruegger, Robert Freeman and Randy Kraft.
